Safari Baby

A wild safari baby he's gonna be. A friend of Jennifer's at her work asked me to make a safari theme baby quilt for her sister-in-law's baby shower. She wanted greens, browns, yellows, and orange. I finally found some fabric after searching for 2 weeks.

With lions, tigers, girrafs, elephants, and monkeys.

And the backing is a match print to the front panel.

It's a perfect baby safari print!! And nice comfy cozy.

I have some extra fabric and extra time to make a few accessories for the new baby too. Like a hanging bag with pockets to hold baby stuff - powder, lotions, comb, brush, etc.

  1. what a nice gift! I am sure the new Mother will be quite happy, Nice Job

  2. How precious ! - - What a wonderful way to welcome the little baby ! - - - Beautiful job !

  3. Oh, I love that print - it's wonderful! You did a great job, Gin, and I'm certain the new mommy will be so happy and always remember you when looking at that precious baby quilt!

    Kind Regards,

  4. How cute is that? I love that fabric pattern.
13 years ago my daughter found something similiar at Penneys called "Judys Jungle" for the nursery. It all looked so cute together.

Tell me something!
