Safari Baby

A wild safari baby he's gonna be. A friend of Jennifer's at her work asked me to make a safari theme baby quilt for her sister-in-law's baby shower. She wanted greens, browns, yellows, and orange. I finally found some fabric after searching for 2 weeks.

With lions, tigers, girrafs, elephants, and monkeys.

And the backing is a match print to the front panel.

It's a perfect baby safari print!! And nice comfy cozy.

I have some extra fabric and extra time to make a few accessories for the new baby too. Like a hanging bag with pockets to hold baby stuff - powder, lotions, comb, brush, etc.

  4. How cute is that? I love that fabric pattern.
13 years ago my daughter found something similiar at Penneys called "Judys Jungle" for the nursery. It all looked so cute together.
