A Christmas re-cap. Because I know You want to see.
It all started with Christmas dinner. Then let's get on with the important stuff.
Tyler reading the Christmas Story for us, "The Newborn King".
And then every one opening gifts from name drawing. Gifts included everything from guns to jewelry.
The girls.
My present.
Tyler and me.
The crew.
Praise to Our Savior on His birthday!!

Monday Monday
Rest and relaxation comes after Christmas Day. Don't have to cook
today because there are leftovers from Christmas Day. I stare at the
Christmas tree, the Christmas wreath, the Christmas decorations wanting
to clear everything out today. But I'll do it tomorrow. Enjoying
looking at my Christmas pictures taken on Christmas Day.
It has rained for 2 days and nights. New pj's are really getting a work out!! Thank you!
Entertaining myself by blog surfing and see what y'all and y'all are up to. It's like reading a good book.
Let's get the New Year on!

Reason
It's close. 9 days to go until the family crowds, the oohing and ahhing over gifts, the non-stop foods, the tree skirt in full view from an empty floor under the tree. These are the reasons for all the hustle and bustle.
And, Christmas tree cookies of which I have eaten dozens and dozens of in the last week and have literally made people eat them with me and even insisted they take some home.
The fun of wrapping papers spread out all over the floor to wrap those special choosen gifts for those special people to place under the tree for the big day.
The Christmas book that we read every year on Christmas Day before we open the gifts. Because, after all, it's HIS birthday.
And, it's the reason for the season, for the spirit, for the giving that we can celebrate, rejoice, worship, and praise The Newborn King.
