Start of Spring

I had spring fever for sure. I wanted to spring spruce up the yard. Start house spring cleaning. Maybe a veggie garden. Easter has come and gone. And I did none of the aforementioned.

Instead we did a short, close to home spring camping trip to a new RV resort about an hour away from home and met the kid campers. It's going to be the bomb for summer stays. There's the kiddie pool area, adult pool area, kiddie play ground, pool side grill restaurant, kayaking, paddle boarding, a lazy floating river pool, and who knows what else. It's a big place.

Bad news - all week the weather reports were calling for severe thunder storms for our schedule. We didn't give in. We went hoping for the best.  Tho, the weather was on and off, we managed to get some fun in between the two rain storms with tiny hail once.

Bike riding filled our time mostly since the pools weren't weather friendly yet.
I clicked right at 7,000 steps on the first day as bike ride monitor.

We definitely will make this a summer-go-to favorite.

They Said "I DO"

The wedding day was here. After months of planning and parties and showers, our last and his fiancĂ© repeated their vows at a local southern plantation.

There were a lot of bridesmaids. There were nine.

And nine groomsmen.

Plus 2 ring bearers and 2 flower girls.

Amidst laughter and a few tears, they became Mr. & Mrs.

Their first dance. Then guests on the dance floor all night with a great interactive band.

The night ended with their walk thru sparklers held high and into a waiting limousine.

Congratulations !!
